1. Understanding Installment Plans
We understand that financial circumstances can sometimes make it challenging to pay your full community assessment in a single payment. To support our members, we offer installment plans that allow you to spread your annual assessment payments over multiple months.
2. Eligibility
Installment plans are available to all members in good standing. To be eligible:
- You must be current with all previous year’s assessments (no outstanding balances from prior years).
- You must not have any active payment plans from previous years.
- Your community’s governing documents must permit installment payment options.
3. Plan Options
We offer several standard installment plan options:

| Quarterly Plan | 4 payments | January, April, July, October |
| Monthly Plan | 12 payments | January through December |
4. Plan Terms
- Interest: A nominal interest rate of 6% per annum will be applied to the unpaid balance. This will be calculated monthly and added to your account.
- Processing Fee: A one-time processing fee of $25 will be charged to set up the installment plan.
- Automatic Payments: We strongly recommend enrolling in automatic payments to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees.
- Default: If you miss two consecutive payments, the entire remaining balance becomes immediately due, and the installment plan will be terminated.
5. How to Apply
To apply for an installment plan, please send an email to installments@hoaofamerica.org with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your property address
- Your preferred plan (e.g., “Quarterly Plan” or “Monthly Plan”)
Our team will review your request and reply with the necessary agreement forms and instructions. Applications are typically processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your plan is approved and set up.
